GFF short film award winners announced

It's a home win for The Pedestrian.

The Cage took home the jury prize

Today saw the closing ceremony of the Glasgow Short Film Festival, one of several mini-festivals running within the GFF and hugely popular with attendees. This year's Jury Prize went to The Cage, the story of a boy who battles with his father over whether or not he can keep an injured dove he has brought home.

The Audience Award went to The Pedestrian. The story of a man obsessed by speed walking who has to face some tough challengers, it's shot within five minutes of the Centre for Contemporary Arts, where the festival was held, and clearly won the sympathies of a large home audience.
