Festival Scope has teamed up with Swiss documentary film festival Visions du Réel to offer free online screenings of short and medium-length films from the international competition section.
Among the films is silent pastoral story Then Comes The Evening, directed by Maja Novakovic and Verónica Haro Abril's When They Left, which considers an Ecuadorian village that is dying after the younger generation all migrate away. Alongside them are personal tales, including Dorothée Myriam's In Mansourah You Separated Us, which sees her father reconnect with his childhood in Algeria and Dorothée Moris Freiburghaus' tale of friendship Summerloch.
A selection of 18 films is screening from today until 28 April, with 200 free tickets are available per film on a first-come-first-served basis.
