Bruce Willis to retire

Star reveals that a disability is ending his career

Bruce Willis, the much-loved star of films like , [film]Pulp Fiction and The Fifth Element is to retire from acting, his daughter Rumer revealed today. She explained that the 67-year-old is suffering from aphasia, a neurological condition which makes it difficult to find the right words when trying to speak.

"With much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him," said his family in a statement.

It is not known at this time whether or not Willis will be aiming to complete production on the upcoming Fortress 3. He has appeared in over 120 films since launching his screen career in 1980.
